Description
English: This bug is a member of the order Hemiptera, superfamily Coreoidea and family Alydidae. The most characteristic feature of members of Hemiptera are the structure of their mouthparts which are highly efficient at extracting liquid from plants or animals. They consist of suctorial stylets lying in a grooved rostrum.
