English: Burlescombe: railway at Eastbrook. A First Great Western train from Exeter climbs the gradient to the summit at Whiteball Tunnel, less than half a mile away. This route was originally constructed by the Bristol & Exeter Railway, engineered by Brunel, and opened throughout in 1844
