For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Calau, Ernte, Kontrolle des Korns Zentralbild Schutt Das sonnige Erntewetter nutzen die Landarbeiter des VEG Calau, Abteilung Renden, um so schnell wie möglich die Gerste unter Dach und Fach zu bekommen. An Ort und Stelle überzeugen sich des Hauptdirektor der VEG Bezirksdirektion, Erich Jaschke, (links) zusammen mit dem Mähdrescherfahrer Günter Adolph (rechts) von der Qualität der Gerste.
