In Dresden wurde am 8.4.1954 der Grundstein für die Hochschule für Verkehrswesen gelegt. In mehreren Bauabschnitten soll bis 1957 diese neue Hochschule für 2 500 Studenten bezugsfertig sein.

UBz: Architekt, Nationalpreisträger Professor Paulick bei der Grundsteinlegung. (Rechts) Minister für Eisenbahnwesen der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik Roman Chwalek, (links) der Maurerbrigadier Reinhard, der dem Minister für Eisenbahnwesen zahlreiche Verpflichtungen der Bauarbeiter zur schnelleren Vollendung des Baues übergab.
