For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kirsten Emmelmann ADN-ZB Kluge 16.2.86 Bez. Cottbus: DDR-Hallenmeisterschaften in der Leichtathletik- Marita Koch (SC Empor Rostock- r.) verbesserte über 200 m in Senftenberg ihre eigene Weltbestmarke um sechs Hundertstelsekunden auf 22,33 s. Die alte Bestzeit hatte sie vor drei Jahren in Budapest aufgestellt. Links Kirsten Emmelmann (SC Magdeburg), die Zweite wurde.
