For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Elbbrücke "Blaues Wunder", Straßenbahn ADN-ZB Hiekel 9.4.1985 Dresden: Brückenrekonstruktion-Die Dresdner Hängebrücke, weithin unter dem Namen "Blaues Wunder" bekannt, ist ab 9.4. für den Straßenverkehr gesperrt. Das technische Denkmal aus dem Jahre 1893 wird umfangreich rekonstruiert. Die Arbeiten nehmen ungefähr zwei Jahre in Anspruch. Künftig soll das Bauwerk als eine der sieben Brücke der Elbmetropole wieder genutzt werden.
