For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Gehren, Forstarbeiter, Pause ADN-ZB Schaar 4.5.1982 Bez.Suhl: Ein warmes Essen im Wald, an ihren Arbeitsorten haben sich die Forstarbeiter aus dem Bezirk Potsdam verdient, die ihre Suhler Kollegen des Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebes Gehren, Kreis Ilmenau, beim Beseitigen der Schneebruchschäden vom vergangenen Dezember unterstützen. Hunderte Forstleute aus allen Bezirken der DDR helfen gegenwärtig im Thüringer Wald, um das wertvolle Holz zu bergen und vor Borkenköfern und anderen Schädlingen zu schützen. - siehe auch 1982-0504-7 u. 8 N -
