English: rectangular wooden box, on oiutside covered with gold-tooled leather; sprigs of flowers on sides and surrounding raised central panel of cover, which in center bears coat-of-arms flanked by two quatrefoils, and in corners diapered scrolled cartouches - coat-of-arms: tierced in fess, 1] an eagle displayed, 2] a winged dragon, 3] three mullets on bend - surmouted by cardinal's hat - brass escutcheon, hasp, and two bail handles - inside lined with red undrressed leather. |
