Description
English: A cast copper-alloy post-medieval book clasp. The rectangular plate has two notches on the long sides, an integral curved hook on one end, the other end is damaged. The front face contains a geometric design consisting of a number or concentric circles. One of the circles has been pierced in the centre. The plate is bent slightly at the notches and contains traces of iron corrosion on the back. Dimensions: height 22.0mm width 35.35mm thickness 6.06mm, weight 4.93g
