je suis l'auteur des armoiries de la commune de Touffailles le dessin et la description ne sont pas conforment à ceux arrétés par le conseil municipal en février 2000 etaccepté le 27 juin 2000 par la commission nationale d'héraldique. Le chef-pal est une pièce honorable qui vient se mettre sur l'écu avec sa propre épaisseur, étant en relief par rapport à l'écu son positionnement masque une partie de l'écu ainsi que les meubles qui y figurent. La tour de sable n'est pas brochante, elle est pour moitié dans le "chef et le pal"
