| Description |
English: Barn at Castle Farm Possibly not to be a barn for much longer, as signs indicate that planning permission is sought for conversion to office space. This is a big barn, as might be expected for one so close to its farm, rather than the smaller field barns which are characteristic of the area, and one that seems in remarkably good condition. I can't recall seeing a stone-built barn whose roof ridge doesn't sag at least slightly under the load of stone flags, but this has a long span which seems very straight. |
