A Bandeira de Carmópolis”, constitui-se de 04 (quatro) retângulos de tamanhos iguais, nas cores “verde bandeira”, que representa os nossos campos e florestas e “azul celeste”, representando nosso Céu, posicionados em extremidades invertidos, divididos ao centro por (02) dois largos traços na posição vertical e horizontal fundindo-se no formato de “Cruz” na cor “amarelo ouro”, representando todas as riquezas minerais extraídas do solo ladeadas por finos traços que acompanham os seus contornos na cor “preta”, representando a principal riqueza mineral do Município, o Petróleo. No centro da Cruz fica o Brasão de Armas, contendo todos os traços correspondentes a sua formação.
