Description
English: Antipolo Cathedral also known as National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage for the church houses an image of a brown image of Nuestra Senora de la Paz y Buenviaje, is one of the most popular churches in the Philippines. The church was first established and was governed by the Jesuits in 1591. The church was greatly damaged in 1639’s Chinese uprising and various earthquakes from 1645 to 1863. In 1954, Antipolo Cathedral was declared as a a national shrine of the Philippines.
