Title |
This cylindrical vase made from a light red pottery has an overhanging rim and flat base. The vase is decorated with a red lines making up what could be termed a net like pattern. It is believed this could date from the late pre-dynastic period or very early dynastic era.It was found at Naqada and once belonged to the late antiquarian Benjamin Kent of Tatefield Hall, Beckwithshaw, North Yorks. Previously it was part of the Rustafjaell Collection |
