Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Kawasan SM Isau-Isau merupakan perwakilan tipe vegetasi hutan hujan pegunungan dengan jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang didominasi oleh famili Dipterocarpaceae, Fagaceae, Lauraceae, dan merupakan habitat beberapa satwa liar dilindungi undang-undang antara lain siamang (Hylobates syndactylus), trenggiling (Manis javanica), beruang madu (Helarctos malayanus), burung enggang/ rangkong (Bucerotidae), dan kucing hutan (Felis bengalensis). Oleh karena potensi flora dan fauna yang cukup besar ini maka kawasan tersebut perlu ditetapkan sebagai kawasan suaka margasatwa sehingga dapat terjaga kelestarian potensi keanekaragaman hayatinya dan juga potensi airnya. Isau-Isau mempunyai potensi wisata yang menarik didukung dengan adanya air terjun dan aliran sungai di dalam kawasan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai destinasi wisata terbatas. Air terjun yang berada di SM Isau-Isau yaitu Air Terjun Kepayang, Air Terjun Pulau Sirih, Air Terjun Pumputan, Air Terjun Napal Carik, dan Air Terjun Cik Dai. Selain itu, juga terdapat potensi sumber Air Panas Kemuahak yang berada dalam kawasan dengan jarak sekitar 5 (lima) km dari batas kawasan dengan pintu masuk dari Desa Padang Kecamatan Mulak Ulu Kabupaten Lahat.
