Frysk: De Abdijtsjerke yn Aduard is in earder kleastergebou fan de Sint-Bernardusabdij en de tsjintwurdige tsjerke fan de PKN-gemeente. Oarspronklik is it de sikeseal fan de abdij, dy't nei de reduksje fan Grins yn 1597 hielendal ôfbrutsen waard. Allinne de sikeseal waard sparre en oerdroegen oan de protestanten, dy't it gebou geskikt makken foar in tsjerke fan de Nederdútsk Grifformearde Tsjerke (sûnt de 19e iuw de Nederlânsk Herfoarme Tsjerke). De eardere sikeseal út 1297 is it âldst gebou mei in oarspronklik genêskundige funksje yn Nederlân. Njonken tsjerketsjinsten wurdt it gebou ek brûkt foar kulturele manifestaasjes en rûnliedings troch it kleastermuseum "Sint-Bernardushof". |
