| Description |
English: Prior to a Bengali wedding, the soon-to-be-wed couple partake in a feast at the bride-to-be's home. Called the 'Aai Budo Bhaat', this is a multi-course meal, which includes a variety of fishes, fresh steamed rice, and a multitude of sweets and sweet curd.
The bride-to-be's family blesses her, and feed handfuls of food to her, before she and her fiancé have their lunch together. |
