A cast copper alloy trumpet deriviate brooch.
Description
English: An incomplete cast copper alloy trumpet deriviate brooch of Roman date; c. AD 75-175. The spring mechanism, pin and foot are missing and only a fragment of the catchplate remain. A simple collar moulding separates the head from the bow. A dark brown/green patina is visible on all surfaces. The lenght is 35mm and thickness is 12mm.
