A cast copper alloy seal matrix.
Description
English: A cast copper alloy seal matrix of medieval-early post medieval date. The printed surface is oval in shape, with a central bird facing right and an unclear legend which possibly reads: NE DCOWE. The handle is undecorated and has got the remains of a hoop at the top. Height: 20mm, diameter on base: 10x8mm, weight: 3.7g.
