Towboat "Richard C. Young" upbound with a coal tow, approaching JFK Bridge. . Twin screw towboat "Richard C. Young" (doc. # 553902, length 145 feet, width 48 feet, GM 16-645E7B diesels, 6140 hp) built in 1973 by Jeffboat, Inc., Jeffersonville, Indiana. Originally owned by American Commercial Barge Line, Jeffersonville. Sold in 2001 to PKC Properties LLC and renamed "Miss Kris". Leased to Triple M Transportation, Geenville, Mississippi. By 2009, apparently sold to SCFM Towing LLC, St. Louis, Missouri, and leased to Marquette Transportation Co., Paducah, Kentucky. Coast Guard documentation expired in 2014. . Ohio River mile 604. Louisville, Kentucky. April 1988. . file # 88d108. 35 mm Kodachrome. Plustek OpticFilm 7600i. Siverfast 8. Picture Window 6. unsharp mask (radius 1,threshold 3, 100%).
