English: A moving group of people holding climate protest signs (Toronto march for Grassy Narrows).
Français : Manifestation (18 sept 2024) organisée par le peuple des premières nations de Grassy Narrows, pour protester contre la w:fr:Contamination au mercure de Grassy Narrows, le manque d'accès à l'eau potable et à un environnement sain. Des des lycéens et des seniors demandant une action urgente pour la protection du climat, notamment, se sont joints à la manifestation, en soutien à cette communauté qui se bat depuis environ 70 ans pour que leur environnement soit nettoyé et que l'usine qui continue à polluer la rivière par des matières organiques et nutriments ferme, car ces nutriments alimentent les bactéries qui transforment le mercure en méthylmercure, bien plus toxique et écotoxique, et fortement bioaccumulable
