Description
Deutsch: 24.02.2008 01689 Weinböhla, Bartshügelstraße: König-Albert-Turm (GMP: 51.166839,13.585876), erbaut 1898 auf der Schweitzerhöhe. Bauherr war der Besitzer das Parkrestaurants Carl Schweitzer zusammen mit seinem Vetter, dem Kalksteinbruchbesitzer Karl Vetter. Der Turm wurde am 13.04.1898 eingeweiht und nach dem herrschenden sächsischen König Albert benannt. Seit den 1950er Jahren verfiel der Turm immer mehr und war meist geschlossen. 1998-1999 wurde der Turm saniert. [DSCN31650.TIF]20080224375DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
