Deutsch: 01.07.2003 16821 Rheinsberg/Mark: Schloß, (GMP: 53.098440,12.889752). Wo sich heute das Schloß befindet, stand im Mittelalter eine Wasserburg. Die Familie von Bredow ließ nach
1566 ein Wasserschloß in Renaissanceformen an dessen Stelle erbauen, das im Dreißigjährigen Krieg stark beschädigt wurde. 1618 wurde das Schloß an Kuno von Lochow verkauft. Die Besitzer wechselten dann mehrfach. In den Jahren bis 1740 ließ der preußische Kronprinz Friedrich (der späteren König Friedrich II.) das Schloß umfangreich von den Baumeistern Johann Gottfried Kemmeter und Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff ausbauen und erweitern. So bekam der Bau ein Obergeschoß. Bis zur Enteignung 1945 gehörten Schloß und Gut dem Haus Hohenzollern. Blick von Nordwesten. [DSCN]20030701320DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
