Estos petardos iban lanzados hacia vallas de metal de más de 2 metros de alto; detrás de ellas, tanquetas y policías en armadura de pies a cabeza, disparando balas de goma y gases lacrimógenos directamente a los cuerpos de los manifestantes. La policía y el ejército instalaron un cerco alrededor de San Lázaro para proteger a quien ellos consideran presidente de México. Grupos de estudiantes, maestros y sociedad civil se reunieron afuera del cerco para intentar derribar las vallas y acceder a las inmediaciones de la Cámara de Diputados para protestar contra la imposición. Estos intentos fueron recibidos con represión: gases lacrimógenos y balas de goma fueron disparados contra los cuerpos de los manifestantes resultando en más de 30 heridos (varios de gravedad). |
