English: A 1952/1956 Devin-MG seen at the 2014 Lime Rock Concours d'Élegance. A 1952 MG TD was originally rebodied in aluminium by Frank Aldhous and then raced across southern California. In 1956 Art Evans installed this Devin body on the MG chassis and continued to race it until 1957. The car was then restored in 1990-1993 by a Mike Goodman, and it was then exhibited at a Concours d'Élegances in Brentwood CA. Still on the West Coast it was then raced in vintage racing with some success beginning in 1997. From 2003 it took part in VCCS and Lime Rock Historics Event, and now in 2014 it is for sale again. Chassis #8026 and engine #XPAG/8054, with a claimed 103bhp. Behind can be seen this competition Ferrari 512TR from 1992. |
