This dress in the style called "façon princesse", was worn by Anastasia Pavlova, née Usova on the occasion of her wedding in 1911 to the courtier Ivan Nikolaevich Pavlov, who gave her a pair of earrings as a wedding present that were in an 2011 exhibition prior to being auctioned.
