The map on which the roads are traced is a cut out from “Dai Nihon saiken shishō zenzu” (Shōtō, Sanjin, 1830) at Japanese Maps of the Tokugawa Era, from the Open Collection at the University of British Columbia Library.Čeština: Pět cest do Eda (Gokaidó):

I downloaded it with permission of Mr. Kawaharada for the purpose of usage on wikipedia from https://denniskawaharada.wordpress.com/edo-period-roads/ I emailed him for permission and received it: "Yes, you have my permission to use the map. However the map is not from Wikipeida. The map I posted is a cut out of a 1830 Map of Japan that I found at the University of British Columbia Library: https://open.library.ubc.ca/collections/tokugawa/items/1.0223029 I drew the lines and added labels to the map using Photoshop." |
