English: U.S. Army 1st. Sgt. Jeffery Nichols and Capt. Kyle Sauer, paratroopers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, give an after-action review after conducting squad live fire during Exercise Rock Inferno in Slunj, Croatia, Jan. 25, 2024. Exercise Rock Inferno is a combat skills training exercise where Sky Soldiers improve lethality, confidence, and proficiency at the team, section, and squad level in a challenging and realistic live-fire scenario. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S., Europe, Africa, or Central Commands' areas of responsibility.
