English: Name: A monument in memory of four Hahagana personnel Description: In 1938 (1938), a camp was established in this area, at the foot of the Qumran cliff, for well drillers who were looking for fresh water in the area, so that it would be possible to establish a settlement there. Four of its residents, two drillers and two inspectors, are all members of the Hagana. עברית: שם: אנדרטה לזכר ארבעה אנשי הגנה תיאור: בשנת תרצ"ח (1938) הוקם באזור זה, לרגלי מצוק קומראן, מחנה של קודחי בארות שחיפשו מים מתוקים באזור, על מנת שאפשר יהיה להקים בו יישוב. ביום כ"ב בתמוז תרצ"ח, 21.7.1938, תקפו בדואים את המחנה והרגו ארבעה מיושביו, שני קודחים ושני נוטרים, כולם חברי ה"הגנה". מיקום: קליה קובץ מקורי: 20220722_062849.jpg |
