Description
Deutsch: Stereografische Karte der ringförmigen Sonnenfinsternis vom 1. August 2008. Im Morgen- und Abendabschnitt ist nur ein Teil der Finsternis bei Sonnenauf- oder -untergang zu beobachten. Die feinen roten und blauen Kurven zeigen der sich über der Erdoberfläche verschiebende Mondschatten (Grenze des Halbschattens). Nur innerhalb des grauen Bandes kann man die Finsternis als totale erleben.
