A group of seven Hindu temples complex from 11th to 14th century

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Kapileswar temple is a collection of Hindu temples built during the Nagavanshi (Nāgavaṃśī) era. They include small to moderate size temples dedicated to Shaivism, Vaishnavism and Shaktism. These are the Kapileshwar Shiva temple, Ganesh temple, Durga temple, Ram Janaki temple, Radhakrishna (Jagannath) temple and Hanuman temple. The complex includes a Baori – the temple water tank, as well as ruins and destroyed temple parts, now propped up and on display like an open air museum. The complex is dated from the 11th to 14th century, but most of the temples are from the 13th to 14th century. They include different styles of Hindu architecture, all on a square plan.
