Description
العربية: أنشئ معهد أسيوط الدينى الأزهرى "معهد فؤاد الأول" إثر زيارة الملك فؤاد ملك مصر إلى أسيوط بعد طلب من مشايخ وعلماء أسيوط بإنشاء معهد دينى أزهرى على غرار المعاهد التى كانت تبنى فى القاهرة آنذاك بعد أن ازدحم مسجدى اليوسفى والأموى بالوافدين من طلاب العلم من مديريات الصعيد المجاورة، فاختار لهم الملك فؤاد الأول الموقع الحالى بمنطقة الحمراء بأسيوط، وأصدر بذلك مرسوما ملكيا أن تخصص قطعة الأرض الكائنة بمنطقة الحمراء بجوار نيل أسيوط ومساحتها اربع أفدنة وثمانية قراريط وسهمان لإنشاء معهد دينى أزهرى وقام الملك فؤاد وقتها بوضع حجر الأساس للمعهد سنة 1930 وأستغرق بناءه اربع سنوات واستخدم للدراسة سنة 1934 وشيدت مبانيه على الطراز الإسلامى الأندلسى.
