SHORT DESCRIPTION
  •  Comment ELEKHH, picture was taken in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, in the central part of the country where a lot of the old traditions remain. And yes, you are right, picture was taken in January, however, these skulls are typical of Day of the Dead as I mentioned in the description. The fact that they are still on sale in some markets is just that they never really dissapear, much like Christmas or other figures, for example, they can be found in small scale in some markets. This picture was taken in a temporary Mexican Crafts show/market at the central city plaza along with items of different celebrations. I hope this adresses your concerns.
