Comment These have to be checked individually! Most of them are made by photographers who have died more than 70 years ago. ([1] [2] [3] among others) Within the EU there is no copyright to reproductions of puplic domain works. Some restriction boilerplate is "nice to have" but nothing more and can be ignored. Comment I have sorted (most of) the list and added author information. 200+ files (at the top) are left, which may also have author information and need further examination.

Keep for all works by authors who died no later than 1936 (no URAA problems then), also

Keep all files without a known author but older than 120 years,

Delete all files by authors who died after 1954 or are alive. For authors who died from 1937 to 1954,

Keep unless there is a URAA problem (works from 1930 or later), then

Thanks, but this is a real bad way to create a DR. With a mix of PD and non-PD files, deletion can't be automated. The right way is to create a DR by author. This will be also make undeletion easier when the time comes. Yann (talk) 09:23, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Give me some time to sort the rest as best as possible. Then new DRs can be created for the files which are still protected, using the sections above.
