Historical photos, paintings, drawings. Proper author/date/country of creation information should be supplied to determine copyrights status and license tags corrected.

EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:21, 1 January 2020 (UTC) The images of the Rev Professor H M B Reid and his book "The Kirk Above Dee Water" were taken from his book which was published in 1895 and which I took to be therefore out of copyright. Keep Unless there are examples to discuss which have more information than 'unknown' as the photographer. The majority of these files are in use, so default to keep as the age of the photographs put them under the 'significant doubt' needed to act further.

A housekeeping category would do it, no risk of deleting PD material that way and the category can have a few bullet points to remind folks of the most commonly appropriate PD licenses which might do. --Fæ (talk) 17:46, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the previous DR, some images are not old enough (some are marked to be from the 1960s) and some images are pictures of pictures (COM:DW).
