Files in Category:Ernst Schneider
[edit]German photographer Ernst Schneider died in 1959, so these photographs are not in the public domain in Germany yet and should be deleted. The files can be restored in 2030 (unless some are still protected in the US at that point).

- Of course if he only died in 1959, these images must be deleted. User:G.dallorto (talk) 22:08, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- Delete per nom and G.dallorto, but copy used images to projects which will accept them until 2030. — 🇺🇦Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 10:38, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, I uploaded "Eine Vorstellung im Wintergarten Berlin, 1910", "Madge Lessing", "Maria Labia" and "Schauspielerin Lotte Sarrow" - all these pictures are in Public Domain, I uploaded them from: https://digital.zlb.de/viewer/metadata/15599725/1/
- If you have other information and reliable sources for the life data please contact the Digitale Landesbibliothek Berlin: landesbibliothek-digital(at)zlb.de Auguste de Gouges (talk) 15:10, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- My information is from the German authority file, hosted by the German National Library, see link above. If you think the Berlin library needs to be contacted, why don't you do it yourself? --Rosenzweig τ 16:11, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Btw, their claim that the scans of the magazines they host are in the public domain is obviously not true for all of the content featured there. See [1], where a novel by en:Claude Farrère is printed. Farrère died in 1957, so his works will enter the public domain in Germany (and France and all other 70 years pma countries) in 2028. So: Don't blindly believe things that are written somewhere, but use your own head and do your own research. --Rosenzweig τ 16:16, 9 January 2023 (UTC)

- I don't believe in sugarcoating things and beating around the bush, if that's what you're after. If you don't come to the point, some people won't get the message in my experience. So I prefer to be clear about things. --Rosenzweig τ 15:53, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
