Is protecting the copyright of Category:Stamps of Nazi Germany in the United States really the most important issue for Wikimedia Commons? Bureaucracy gone mad. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 05:09, 23 December 2013 (UTC)

Can you please leave a link to evidence, or quote from a source? I can't readily believe that such copyright protection still exists in the US. • Behalten: Nach deutschem Recht gemeinfrei, weil vor 1966 veröffentlicht, ohne dass ein Urheber angegeben wurde. Da demnach auch zum URAA-Zeitpunkt (1996) bereits gemeinfrei, auch in den USA nicht geschützt. --Mogelzahn (talk) 19:58, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
