Absolutely no possible educational use; I don't think that every Reddit Polandball comic should be uploaded to Commons, and this seriously is the impression I am getting when seeing some latest uploads by Russavia (talk · contribs); see also Commons:Deletion requests/File:Separatism support group.png. odder (talk) 12:03, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Keep Wikimedia Commons is a media repository with a specific scope. Our scope policy states: "The expression “educational” is to be understood according to its broad meaning of “providing knowledge; instructional or informative”." Broad is especially important here. Because Polandball is clearly within scope. This particular file could be informative for a future version of the Sranan Tongo (Surinam language) article. So we are simply acting as a repository for any possible, present or future, educational use. Take the Indonesian article, for example, editors on that project chose an Indonesian-themed file for their article. So sure, it's a sure keeper as far as the scope issue goes, and given that there is no other issue, such as licencing, etc, etc, there's no reason for deletion. russavia (talk) 12:15, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
