Clearly from this photo session, band gives credit to Casey Holder. Flickr uploader is Delaney Gibson, making it Flickr washing. Source=https://www.instagram.com/p/Bdk5A4lFEWi/?taken-by=wearesigny Elisfkc (talk) 17:39, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Comment Fyunck(click) has said that they have proof of permission from both Delaney Gibson and Casey Holder (see User talk:Elisfkc#SIGNY pic). They have been informed to submit this proof through COM:OTRS. --Elisfkc (talk) 17:41, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't recall saying I had proof other than messaging back and forth with the band, It was in the message that Delaney Gibson said Casey Holder was sitting next to her while they uploaded the photo to flickr. They must have had the original if the camera info was still there. Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:08, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
OTRS wording says I shouldn't upload them anything if Flickr already has the proper licensing. I didn't upload the pic to Flickr... I just asked for a single photo. And OTR specifically says "e-mails from copyright holders wishing to allow Wikipedia to reuse their content (emails such as, "I allow Wikipedia to reuse my photos", etc.)" "are insufficient from a legal standpoint: we require a more-specific declaration of consent to accept your permission." So why would they accept a facebook messenger conversation? I can upload a screen print of the conversation, but would that really help? Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:49, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing... with the OTR upload form the first box that comes up is where i choose "I don't know the copyright holder". It stops me cold and says "Wikimedia OTRS cannot accept a release from you – please reach out to the copyright holder instead." So I can't upload the conversation. Should I ask the band to have Casey Holder upload the same photo to flickr once again, under his own name, using the same license they used before (Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic)? Would that be better? Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:06, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Elisfkc: Email the conversation to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org, with a link to the file page. --Elisfkc (talk) 00:51, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Elisfkc: I will email them a screen print of the relevant conversation. Fyunck(click) (talk) 01:42, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I emailed it, though per the OTR page I don't see them considering it as much of anything since I don't represent the band in any way. We'll see. They'll probably look at the flickr page as their guide. Either way the backlog says it may take more than a month for them to check it out. Fyunck(click) (talk) 19:44, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
