bad quality, object too far away for usage in commons Biggerben (talk) 12:08, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep in COM:SCOPE, 23 December 2007 wp article on Launceston Airport had no images, in January 2008 User:Kspilling took this image uploaded it to en:WP for the article and then expanded the article. The image remained in the article until May 2011 when it was removed from the article in preference for other images. In September 2008 it was transfered from en:WP into Commons care, yes the quality isnt the best but it was all we had for 3 years, deleting it would be deleting apart of that articles history. Deleting it is also insulting to our contributors by showing a lack of consideration for their efforts in going out and creating works we needed. With the passing of time every image will be improved upon and images will be removed from articles but that isnt a reason to delete them, in fact its a reason to keep them as record of where we have been, who's been there for us and what they did to improve our knowledge. Oh and by the way its still the only image we have of a QantasLink aircraft taking off from Launceston Airport. Gnangarra 14:11, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep any Tasmanian airport photo is relatively a rarity and should be kept on that alone... until something better comes along SatuSuro (talk) 22:43, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep the image is not that bad. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:29, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
