Insufficient permission. Patrick Rogel (talk) 20:12, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have permission in writing from the copyright holder to use the photo in the public domain. Let me know if you think something further is needed to done to document this.--Milowent (talk) 21:29, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Milowent: Commons doesn't accept forwarded permissions and they can't be for Wikipedia only so copyright holder must send a permission using COM:OTRS. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 22:00, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
After 12 years of editing Wikipedia, and being among the top 1000 in articles written, I've seen wide variety in how these things get handled. The release is into the public domain. But I'll handle what you think is required, it would have been nice if you'd notified me before nominating it for deletion.--Milowent (talk) 01:56, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Patrick Rogel, I agree with Milowent. Also, I've forwarded permissions in the past, but I guess I shouldn't tell you for which images. Drmies (talk) 01:08, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the ticket indicated below is a submission from the copyright holder to approve release into public domain. See [1].--Milowent (talk) 15:22, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Now has OTRS permission. --Gbawden (talk) 09:50, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
