I agree this should be deleted without any further info, but I want to give this time for more investigation. The photo is dated 1 January 1970 but there is nothing to support this specific date. Thompson was in office until 1981. Assuming the claimed date of 1 January 1970 is correct, does the 50 years of copyright expire January 1, 2021? Anyway, delete unless someone can provide more information. This file was initially tagged by Ivar the Boneful as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: There is nothing in the source confirming the 1970 date used to claim public-domain status. Delete per COM:PRP as we can't verify the date. The photo was likely taken while he was in office, as you state this could be as late as 1981/1982. -M.nelson (talk) 09:03, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
