Image being used solely for publicity purposes: see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=1984&diff=687976969&oldid=687899113 and long history of similar submissions. Submitter has repeatedly been asked to show evidence of notability of subject for addition to Wikipedia per WP:BIO, without success. The Anome (talk) 21:22, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- Update: this image has repeatedly been added and re-added to the en:1984 article, without any justification of why it might be notable or relevant there. Single-purpose accounts and IPs have also been repeatedly removing the deletion request header from the image file page, presumably in the belief that they can circumvent the deletion process by doing so. -- The Anome (talk) 15:15, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- Update: there have been yet more efforts to remove the tag from the file page. Attempts to engage with the various IPs etc. to get them to contribute here appear to have been futile.
