On en.wiki George Bird Evans, this image is listed as an illustration for Cosmopolitan. Surely either Evans' estate or Cosmopolitan retain copyright. WikiDan61 (talk) 21:45, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
It went to his wife Kay after George's death which she then transferred to "the Kathryn H. Evans Trust Agreement", dated March 25, 1999. At the death of Kay Evans in 2008, the Old Hemlock Foundation was established and these legal rights were transferred to us. As a director of the Old Hemlock Foundation I have control over these images.
