Krinkle is currently among our most active users, known for his persistent vandal-fighting efforts, and for the development of Commons' Counter-Vandalism Unit. He started editing about a year ago, but only became active about four months ago. Nonetheless, he has accumulated over 3,000 edits, primarily to the file namespace. Like many Commons users, Krinkle is a sysop and dedicated user at another project, nlwiki, where he also manages to edit quite frequently. Back here at Commons, Krinkle often makes dozens of edits every hour – related to various forms of maintenance – with an emphasis on reverting dangerous unproductive edits that would have otherwise likely sat there until noticed perhaps weeks later. A very quick spot-check of his recent edits reveals no major flaws in his actions, but rather a tenancy to carefully inspect and consider each revert, and he knows when undo is preferable to rollback. Overall, I think Krinkle would be able to benefit the project at an even greater level with a handful of extra buttons to push. –Juliancolton | Talk 13:14, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

- Support, was going to nominate, but he had to leave mid conversation. Helpful editor that would only be more helpful as a sysop. Blurpeace 23:00, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

- Though I'll write my own version that warns without reloading the page, I do indeed forget to fill it in sometimes. Thanks for pointing me on this. --Krinkletalk 01:25, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Please remove the yellow notice on your user page. Seeing as you want to be an administrator here, I would think you'd be just as active here as on nl.wp (in terms of replying). — Kanonkas // talk // e-mail // 21:32, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- I don't agree that it should be removed. Most if not all active Commons users call another project their "home wiki" and tend to spend more time there. –Juliancolton | Talk 00:06, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with both of you. Commons has become my second home and I had removed it from my talkpage already. I've now removed it from my User-page aswell (The {{User SUL}} is there anyway). Though in an urgent matter I might repond faster on nl.wiki, in practice I think the activity is almost equal, and as an administrator it will be equal. --Krinkletalk 09:09, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you :) What you said in your last sentence is basically what I was trying to get at. — Kanonkas // talk // e-mail // 13:54, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
