English: This sanctuary was nicknamed red chapel by the French during the colonial era. It houses a Reclining Buddha dating from the construction of the temple in the 16th Century. Its outer walls were decorated in the late 1950s with mosaics representing the feats of Siaw Sawat, a Lao fiction hero, and scenes of local villages.

Français : Ce sanctuaire a été surnommé chapelle rouge par les Français durant l'époque coloniale. Il abrite un Bouddha couché datant de la construction du temple au XVIè siècle. Ses murs extérieurs ont été décorés vers la fin des années 1950 de mosaïques représentant les exploits de Siaw Sawat, un héros de roman lao, et des scènes de villages locaux.
