This promontory at the end of Brunswick Street, Garston, Liverpool, was a shipbreakers' yard from the late 19th century. Between 1968 and 1983 it was owned by Brian Carlyon and David Pemberton before passing to Sam Evans, and is now derelict. However, several pieces of ships and their equipment remain to be seen.
