Jan van den Wouwer or Jan van der Wouwere and Latinized forms 'Waverius', 'Woverius' and 'Wowerius' (known in Spain as: Juan Voverio; first name variations: Johannes and Joannes)(1574 – 1635/6) was a Flemish diplomat and philologist who was a Councillor of Archduke Albert of Austria and formed part of the humanist circle of students of the Flemish philosopher Justus Lipsius.
