English: Hermit Canyon which contains Hermit Creek, and near the Colorado River, Cope Butte. Hermit Camp is located adjacent Granite Gorge, at the terminus of the canyon.
  • The west side of the canyon contains Columbus Point, and higher elevation Yuma Point. The upper southwest region contains Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs Trail).
  • The east side, down the Hermit Trail, contains Lookout Point (Grand Canyon), Breezy Point, Cathedral Stairs, and Cope Butte, adjacent Granite Gorge, of the Colorado River.
  • Fossil trackways (animal tracks) are found in Hermit Canyon.
