English: Clifton Maybank is a hamlet in west Dorset, England. In 1546 a large house was built on the south side of Yeovil for Sir John Horsey, which became the manor of Clifton Maybank (sometimes named Clifton Maubank); much of this was dismantled in 1786 - some of the building being transferred to Montacute House - and today just one part of the original Tudor building remains, with a facade added in 1906. No plan of the original building has been discovered. The village has a population of 63 (2001).
